Best SQ HU?

Which would you all recommend between the 8053 & 8454

8454 - if you need mp3 capability, eiserv or prefer to have the "latest and greatest" (just saying this because it is the newest of these 3...it also has cool white lights on the 2 dials instead of blue //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif )

8053 - if you plan on using the bla (remember you will need to run 12 rca's between the hu and the bla in addition to the 6 from the bla to your amp(s))

8443 - if you need none of the above

I dont know if you have considered the new eclipses...audiowise, I dont think they will be much different than these models, but they look a bit different.

lets just say its no p9. i'd call it an audio enthusiast's deck, whereas the other aforementioned decks are audiophile grade.

yeah.......I never bought for looks, plus I've witnessed a 8445 and 8455 installs and in person the deck is not what everyone makes it out to be- its works for me..

Don't bother getting anything more expensive, since its just loaded with gadgets and monitors all just for show and isn't going to sound better at all. This is a solid head unit that looks good and performs even better. i saw one installed in a car with an all black dash and it didnt look too bad. but the ones with the red illumination just look cheap.
