Best Speakers for Around $100?

Hey all, I just one more part of my system to select: speakers. Please dont suggest I go listen to em myself since I dont have an audio store by me. I have about $100 to spend on them. I need either 5 x 7's or 6 x 8's. If possible Id love to buy it off sounddomain.com (rest of my system is being bought there), but if not, its ok. Thanks.

How much power are you sending them?

Im getting the Infinity 7541a 4-Ch amp.

No idea how much Ill be sending them.

Specs are listed as:

They are a little lower power handling than your amp will put out, but if you are careful setting your gain right, you'll be fine.

Everything you selected has subpar reviews...Anything else? And why shouldnt I just get 5 x 7s or 6 x 8s?

I have a pair of pioneer ts-a6867 6x8 speakers. They came off my ford probe, were used for 1 year off a jvc head unit.

they do very well off amps. 40-60 watts rms would do fine. They were $99 brand new. I'd take $50.

I also have a pair of Boston nx-87. they look like this.

they are higher quality 6x8. Again, off my probe. Used 3 months. I removed them due to 2 front speakers = better imaging. They're in excellent condition and retail for $180 new. I'd be glad to take offers.

x2 on the rev series. Avoid the lesser pioneers, they do not sound very good. Maybe try and track down some of last years infinity kappa 5x7's... even though they don't have them on sounddomain

Why did the rev series get such bad reviews? I am trying to choose between these speakers:

Infinity Reference 6812cf

Rockford Fosgate Power T1572C

Kenwood KFC-C6889ie

Polk MOMO Carbon MM575 (eBay = $95)
