I use nate dogg--nobody does it better and bass 305--into the future for the most part just because I've heard them across a lot of stereos and know what they're supposed to sound like...That's the biggest key imo...

Agreed. Chose songs you like and have listened to a million times so that you know what they're supposed to sound like.
