I've come up with all kinds of interesting enclosure designs. Not sure how any of them will sound though. You have a 10 or a 12?

Sweet... that should sound great. I'm doing my install this Saturday. According to Alpine, the optimum vented enclosure is like 1.5ft.^3 if I remember correctly. If you go to http://www.alpine-usa.com then to products, subwoofers, and click on the SWX-1043D, click on the Owner's Manual pdf file in the top right hand corner and on either the 2nd or 3rd page, it gives the specs for optimum enclosures, both sealed and ported. Unless people on here have had better luck with something other than what Alpine recommends...
