Best single subsetup for SPL

Ok I want to do a single sub setup a 12 or maybe a 15, but a 12 if i can, i can do a 3-3.5 cu ft box max and want mainly SPL 75/25 in favor of SPL and am looking to spend under $200 shipped off ebay, i was thinking off getting a L7 or L5?? Idk wat do u guys like and have experience with? o yea and it has to be at or under 1000 wRMS.

For SPL just do a 12 L7, easily the best choice in your price range for spl.

will a type-r hit harder than a L7?? i dont think it would right??? also in my buick regal do u think 1 l7 would be enough? i mean i want bass that i cant turn all the way up and i can feel in my chest and will make my mirror fall off lol. or is that out of my price range?

for mirror falling bass youll need more than a couple hundred bucks and 3 cubes.. but ive heard a single L7 12 setup and was surprised at how loud it got. just do it right. 3-3.25 cubes NET and good port area tuned in the 30-35 hz region (if you want it to still sound good).. if you just want it loud and can sacrifice a little low end then tune towards 40 hz. and make sure you have at least 600 watts rms on it IMO to get your moneys worth.

it depends on the box, more than anything.

If you want more low end, the type R will give it to ya. Also much cheaper.

You probably wont reach the chest pouding bass from a single 12. A 15 would get you closer. I am running an RE SX 15 tuned to 33 hrtz with about 1400 watts and I still want more.

yeah, I have 2 L7s and they get really loud but I think Im gonna want to upgrade because Im going deaf. Lol

can't go wrong with a type r 15 or a L7 15... just put it in the right box and feed it it's rms+ and you won't be unhappy.. i doubt a 12 will give you what you want without cranking your gain and killing the sub over a shrot period lol
