Ok, so I do not need a new deck, but like everyone else, I want one. Haha. My question is, what is the best New deck, in your opinion, that has a rear USB/ipod cable. I guess this isn't a must, BUT I do love putting my iPod in the glove box...

Please exclude the pioneer dex... Of course I want that a lot. Haha. I want a new-in-box deck, though, cuz I feel decks are the most used devices we have, and they really take some abuse. They usually go out quicker than say a normally ran amp or something.

Also, what is the best bang for the buck in flip outs. I doubt ill get one, but I've always wanted one...

she's a real beauty. already have the aux input adapter in my ebay watch list , and tomorrow i'll be redoing my doors so i can get a lil louder. actually they are gonna be pretty god awful loud. LOL

my dad has a x494 and its AWESOME!!! , can be had for around 100. USB/Aux jack on front , 3 sets of 4v RCA's , crossovers , really great deck for the money.

I am in the same boat as you grimy. I have been reluctantly looking at the Alpines (I have just heard SO many good things about them.) But, I really can't seem to let go of my Kenwood. I've had it for 5 years now and it's time for a new one. I guess my only worry is that I won't find one that has all the features and is so user friendly.

my brother did a direct swap from a x990 to a alpine 9855. FELL IN LOVE! Now , guess what brand touchscreen he is getting for the GTP he just bought??? You guessed it. ALPINE!!
