I have some NIB elemental designs 10 inch shallow mounts.

I have two Memphis MR10S4 in a box

They sounded great in my f150 off of 400 watts, if you gave them there 600 rms they would sound even better

What kind of music do you primarily listen too? How are the low lows? I listen to mainly hip hop, breaks and heavy bass.

listen to mostly hip hop and bass heavy club music

they played very low and loud, I was thoroughly impressed with that being my first time using slim subs

I actually forgot that one of my reps at work used to be a memphis rep. He is coming to see me next week. He still works for the corp just selling different merch now. He said they were ok but that he hasn't really heard any shallow mounts that have made him say wow. I think I'm going to try and find a traditional sub that has 4.75 or smaller mounting depth. Any suggestions? If I ad a lip to extend my box I loose excursion room since I my box is down firing.

I had two Rockford P3s 10"s in my 95 f150. They sounded OK. Not really impressed. Was putting 600 RMS from a Alpine PDX 600.1

Sundown SD 10 has 4.75 or type r 10 for 229 each ate the best or si bm if 300 dissent scare you. All sounds amazing. Any other shallow I have heard is meh

So I ordered the Sundown SD-2 this morning. I actually looked at this sub before I bought the pioneer and liked what I read. For some reason I still bought the pioneer. I'm hoping I'll be telling myself, I should have just bought this one in the first place. All the literature I have seen says they are 500 wrms(conservatively), so does anyone know the peak?
