best setup

right nw i got a kicker 1500.1 running two re se12 in a ported box.

the max space that i have is 17" depth 14" height and 34.5 depth. total cuft is 3.7 before any displacement .

my amp can do 1600 rms @ 2ohm

i mainly listen to hip hop and dance music

i want to upgrade my bass . my priority is SQ . i want more vibration , i want to feel it more.

either better 12's or 4 8" or 3 10's or two 15"

i dont wish to upgrade my amp at this time and im willing to pay $500 per sub if its worth it

post suggestions

also i cannot get the search to work ... on google chrome i get a blank screen and on internet explorer i get a database error screen

Your not going to gain much no matter what you spend without more power. If you only have 3.7 cubes youll need to up the power to get more

People on this forum REALLY have they're definition of sound quality mixed up...

But anyways, your setup is already pretty decent for the amount of space your working with. Like the above poster said, you wont' really gain much since you can't add much into that small a space. Two twelves are already a bit choked in 3.7cubes. The only thing you could do to gain more would be to significantly increase power, and change to some subs that would handle it.

Say, 3k watts and two hdc3's would be nice.

if sq is so important then you dont realy want any more vibration and in order to increase vibration and the felt factor, you will need more power and cone area.

haha u dont really need sq equips to listen to hip hop and dance music. thats really easy to produce.

3 jl 8w7 in a 3cf ported box on that power would drop.

tho oyu would need 1ohm as the 3ohm coils and oyu would need $900 for 3 subs but trust me for SQ and vibration the 3 jl 8's own.

Ive used all kinds of 8 from dd 3x 1508 to jls and the nnotes jl can hit high and low for an 8 are remarkable
