4 12' 700ish watt subs or 2 15 1500 watt subs?

WELL I am wanting a SQ set up. BUT wanting 3,000 watts for the subs and 1500-2000 for the components. Cant decide between just getting 2 more 12" type rs or selling the 2 type rs and getting 2 1500 watt subs. Doesnt actually have to be 15s...but yea.

Budget is $300 for subs. SO yea...cant be nothing like Memphis, Sundown, or DD.

Kind of funny...promised I would never go above 2 type rs...BUT after hearing a friends system...well yea I just want more beat and more sound. His is just subs and factory components and nothing more. Plus he has a 3,000 watt pyle amp which probably is around 2500 actual...know that pyle amps are piles of shit.

You have 3k for your substage and you're looking for SQ? I think you're a little confused.

And you have 2k for your comps?? I don't know of anything that will handle close to that. Most comps run good off 100-150 tops.

What amps do you have? If you really have 5000 watts on tap, what electrical upgrades have you done to your car?

Anyways, with that much power you definetely shouldn't be looking at SQ. With that in mind, adding 2 more type R's will probably be your cheapest and loudest solution.

Personally, I'd get two 15" Fi BL's or something along those lines, though.

I am just gonna go for 2 Audiopipe 15001D amps and something else for components. Wanting to do maybe 6 mids and 2 tweeters.

Already have one of the audiopipes...and since their stackable it be cheaper just to get a 2nd audiopipe instead of just a 3k watt amp. Also doing the Big 3 and buying a new battery under the hood and putting a 2nd in the trunk and get a high output alternator soon enough.

Also IMO SQ is in the eyes of the user . BUT then again im still a little new to this crap.
