best setup for $300 or less

Hello, I'm looking for a set of subs (12's preferably) and an amp. I want to keep the price as cheap as possible. I drive a 2000 Jetta so i actually have plenty of space in the trunk. Everything else in my car is aftermarket. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I know 300 isn't a lot but there is a little bit of room to move.

check the classifieds on here and you can probably run across a deal. it really all depends on what you want with your setup. sq, spl or a mix of both.

I want SQ with some loudness too. I used to have 2 JL W7s but I am convinced that better can be had for less. Before that I had 2 Hifonics Zues that where extremely loud. I'd rather it be clear and clean than loud but ludness is a factor too. I pretty much want a set of dream subs for a ridiculously low price. Maybe I should get one 15? Would that be better?
