Those are great buys from what I hear.....what you didn't consider is a matched up tweet will probably cost more than the mid and then you still need a x-over, it would still be in your budget though

I wouldn't run them in the rears get some good cheap coaxils and spend more on the tweets or get an external crossover with the extra $.......you'll thank me later.......

Running an active rear stage would require a second 4 channel amp.

Not worth it.

I'm active up front and I'm very happy with no rear stage.
