Best production car under $40,000.00?

Has anybody been in the new Chevy SSR? In a couple of year when the price of come down they'll be sweet trucks, i got to drive in one, the thing is mad powerfull, but the truck bed in the thing is usless because it has a hard Bed cover, and the bed liner is fabric, it's basically a big as$ trunk.

UGH, your telling someone who raced scca for 2 years theres more than a straight line. Why dont you do a head to head comparison between the BM and the Cobra according to spec's. You should drive both cars before you make any comments about the handling charecteristics of a car(s) you've never driven.

If you were to put all the top cars for under 40K next to eachother w/o make and model, just the spec's. Best car for under 40K is the Cobra.

BM's are complete nightmares to work on. I spent 3 days changing a starter ona 3-series, not because of the difficulty, but because I had to fabricate a tool to get the bolts out. Engineering Disaster.

Go drive the new 3-series SUV, complete P'sOS.

just because u cant work on a BMW, doesnt mean they are nightmares to work on. and wtf are u talking about 3 series SUV? if ur talkin about the x5 or x3 then i dont see how its a POS. An SUV that handles and drives like a car doesnt exactly go down as a POS in my book. and why are u saying that the best car is a cobra. there is no best. if there was a best then everybody would buy the same car. and theres no way ur saying a 95' cobra is better than a 95' m3 otherwise i laugh in ur face.
