They all use the same code, American Wire Gauge (AWG) ... however GOOD car audio manufactures like to oversize their wire a bit to increase capacity.

check out coppercableman on ebay. i think thats his name. anyhow, he sells welding wire that you can have custom printing on. it's great stuff and very flexible. pretty inexpensive, too.

Have you checked their pricing in the past week? I was going to buy a bunch of 1/0ga and 2/0ga wire to make battery cables for some friends and they went up in price about 40%. That is crazy, I did not see that any of the other manufactures went up that much. I found another company that is close in price to their old pricing but ships for free with any order over $200. The only bad thing is that the wire only comes in black.
