Best PC mouse?

logitech g5, used my friends and loved it gonna go get one at bestbuy tommorow for $35.99 pretty good deal
i have a g5 as well... really nice laser mouse. 2000dpi that you can adjust on the mouse, side to side scroll wheel buttons, and a weight cartridge that you can remove and add eight 1.7g, or 4.5g weights... only thing i don't like about it is the scroll. it works fine for browsing, but you sometimes doesn't register a single scroll (bad for games where you switch weapons with wheel)...

and i've owned the older "razer" 2000dpi mouse that i bought back in the day for 100 bucks when it was the "best" mouse on the market... it was the most unconfortable thing ever...

i ended up with the mx400 laser mouse by logitech

it's basically the wired version of the mouse i had (mx1000)

it was $35, has 4-directional scroll, forward and reverse navigation buttons by the thumb, and is VERY comfortable, and 1/3 the weight of the wireless mouse.

it doesn't have a button to switch applications, but i never actually used that button on the mx1000, anyways.

i'm diggin it so far

i actually still have ~$50 left in best buy gift certificates, and was thinking about a new keyboard

the one that came with my computer has a sticky return key that flares up every now and then, and i'd like a nice, quiet keyboard

the microsoft ergonomic keyboards seem nice, but i've never used one long enough to get used to it

anyone have much experience with them?

do they become 2nd nature after a while, or do they hamper your typing speed?

I got a razer mouse, its pretty nice.

here just took this pic

ya, i really don't need a 2000dpi mouse, tho

if i were a gamer, ya, but the only games i play on my computer, i play with a gamepad, anyways

i really only like racing games

the navigation buttons, and comfort were my 2 concerns

now i want some feedback on the ergonomic keyboards //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

The logitech G5's are on sale for $35 at best buy.

Anyone ever used one?

They're 2,000dpi, 500fps, with on-the-fly resolution adjustments, and adjustable weights.

Seem kinda spiffy, anyone have any hands-on? They didn't have one at the store i went to yesterday.
