I've got a logtech MX laser mouse right now, and i love it to death, very precise for a usb mouse, pretty low latency for a wireless mouse, it's just plain good.
But honestly, i've had it with the built-in non-removeable rechargeable battery //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
I don't like charging it unless it's down to the red, but it probably takes 30-40 hours for the top 2 battery lights to go out, but when it's down to the last green light, i probably only have 1-2 hours of use left, and i often times (right now in fact) find myself without a mouse, because my stupid mouse is sitting on the charger.
I'm done with it.
I want to know what some similar-performance mice are that are either a) wired or b) have removeable batteries, so i can use my 15-minute rechargeable rayovacs, instead of having no mouse to use for 3-6 hours at a time.
I went to best buy today, and the only real option is the low low low-end logitechs, and the microsoft mice. Just want something that's at least AS good as my mx laser.
Need 4-direction scroll wheel, i've grown to love that.
And need to have forward/reverse thumb buttons, as those have also become invaluable to me.
I noticed logitech has a new high-end mouse, that's even higher than the mx laser, which has some sort of thumb scroll wheel, in addition to the typical scroll wheel between the top buttons, and also boasts something called 'turbo scroll' but the mouse alone was $89, i believe, and there wasn't one on display, so i don't know if it has removeable batteries, either.
Anyways, hoping someone can recommend me something. It can come with a keyboard in a combo, as well, since i also need a new keyboard, since my return key sticks now, and i've tried cleaning it with rubbing alcohol to no avail
