But i have never worked with it. I saw a bunch of people using it before.

Well I'm willing to pay if necessary. But it adds up.

It will be fine, it's not quite as thick as knu and a bit stiffer. You should pick up some split loom and electrical tape to protect it in the engine bay, and make it look nice and tidy.

I hate when people generalize welding wire as thinner or less flexible than a given audio wire. They make many types of welding wire. Some is more flexible than others. Some are stiff. Some you can tie in a knot. Some is cheaper than audio wire, some is more expensive. You are going to have to look at the specific welding wire at hand to determine where it falls in comparison to Knu, Kicker, Stinger, etc.

if your lucky enough to have a place willing to sell at a decent price. My local place tried selling me some scraps of 0/1 ga wire for $14 a foot, I laughed at him and walked out.
