Best option of hooking up ipod to alpine HU ?

Whats the best route to go if you want to connect your ipod to your head unit. I dont want to have the best sound quality option when doing this. I already have that crap fm modulator thing.

I have the Alpine 9813. I saw this on ebay:

yeah you just need a set of aux cables and you are set. That will be the best way for you go to. The other adapter is too slow imo and the full speed cable isn't compatable with that modle

iirc your alpine does not have AUX in. that cable you listed is for aux ready units. im pretty sure you will have to get the ai-net ipod adapter

that cable only works on the newer alpines iirc.

Im in this same predicament with my 9815. Has anyone used the IC-ALPA adapters? They have power integrated into the harness that hooks into the dock connection of the IPOD and charges the battery. I would love to hear if anyone has experience with this.

i have my setup up from 200 to 3.5k and tweeks for 3.5k & up. active 3way

sounds a hell of alot better with my active setup with what i hear with people w/o tweets and only us the amps x-over
