IDQ's really get that loud, and still play nice and clean with exceptional SQ??

You aren't gonna want to use them to build an SPL setup, or even necessarily the average ground pounder. But IDQ's output really improved when I ported them (not surprising) while their SQ remained extremely similar to the sealed performance (surprising).
I would NEVER term an IDQ as 'loud' because I know what loud can really be. But yes, the local buddy who bought the setup from me bought it not for its SQ qualities, but because of how well it shook my truck. *shrug* Just goes to show, each person has a different definition of loud.

My JBL's have pretty good sound quality.

Granted I haven't heard that many subs, but they sound really good. They're in a .75 cube sealed enclosure. Gunna port 'em soon, see how they sound.
