best light flicker fix?

my lights flickker when my sub hits, all of my friends have had this and fixed it different ways, whats the best way? a cap, a yellow top, or a better alternator?

in this order....Alternator(always the best permanent fix); Cap(kinda useless if the alt is good tho); Batt(will only help when car is off...extra load while car is running...makes problem worse)
