Best job you've ever worked at?

well neither of my jobs have been the best. both summer jobs, last summer worked out our school with the maintenance(sp??) crew. 7.50 an hour 7hours aday 6days aweek, pay was decent but it blew, really hot summers in the south. then this past summer worked at Walgreens as stock boy aka *****boi. was the easiest no doubt, some of the managers were cool, some dicks. one mgr was a 35yr old latina, fine as hell, always hittin on me(she was single) let me leave early almost every time she worked an still be on clock, it just got real boring after awhile though

Warehouse worker now, i like it, work with alot of "interesting people" to say the least, $11.50 an hour now, march it'll be $13.50, then a raise in July, $1200 special occasion check in September, then also a $500 profit sharing check at the end of September.

Easy work, especially in the winter, only work half day's on Thursdays and Fridays which is a definite plus, and theres always voluntary overtime to be had.

it's basically only a temp job until i get into the local 83 electrician's union.

carwash/detailor.
carwash side..get to drive alot of nice fancy cars. if its your thing..steal whatever you want. ipods, cds, radar detectors, money, change. the guys i worked with were pirates..theyd steal anything. so many ways to get lost and get paid for doing nothing

detail side..tire shine. made a good fireball. multiple hours naps in peoples trunks..none of the supplies were accounted for, so you could walk out with whatever you want..when customers came in and wanted something done..told them no, gave them my number called them after work..charged them 3/4 the price..went directly into my pocket. on big hours long deatils the customers would leave their cars there all day..joyriding around town on lunch that we didnt clock out for. burnouts, dounuts..you get the idea.

Heck when I was 18 years old and single I was making 120,000.00 a year and enjoying the sh** out of it. Should of got an education, but I was making great money at that age to even think about it. Got to have balls and be smart about it, but repossessing cars was fun at your age. Hours do **** though. But I was drivin by money at the time and education didn't matter. Just had to be a fast talker and smart in the nieghborhoods you were in. Ain't for everyone though............

subway was fun, not too fun but i ate all the left overs and the pay was ok i guess, 6 an hour underthe table at 14

paralegal ($15 hour)

making the stickers that list the options inside used cars (bet you didn't think someone did that) (commision based, couldve made like $1000 a week but i quit)

building tanning booths (only $10 a hour cash but i was young at the time)

and now, my fav. job of all...being a journalist. pay is shitty, but the work is great.

No BS here. Try it in South Central,Riverside and San Bernardino. There is a TON of business in those areas. Did it for 18 years. I am in no need to lie about it.

for the record, and i hate to sound like the cliche alpha male here on a message board, but it is the utter truth when i say that if i came out to my car after having it washed and noticed a large item had been stolen, i swear to god i would knock a mother fukers head off until i got it back cause "i make scenes happen like spielberg when im heated"

why would you steal from someone? agh man thieves FTL....i mean i dont know if you say you do it yourself, but im just vocalizing how i feel about it haha
