Best job you've ever worked at?

how long u been working out??? to be a bouncer i mean
that was 8 years ago. being a bouncer is not what people think. you actually get fired for being agressive in most places. i worked out 4 days per week with the head bouncer while i worked there. after a year i felt pretty good. i was in decent shape when i started, but that guy just killed me. i felt sorry for guys who decided to challenge him.

i am an auto catastrophe manager for a large insurance company, basically if there any types of major catastrophe which caused damage to a large volume of cars/boats/rv's etc which are insured by my company they call me, i assemble my team and we head out to the location to setup shop and work the claims in an expedient fashion...whewww haha

sandy eggo airport.

"ramper": filling the cabin underneath the plane with bags.. duh, driving all sorts of GSE(ground support equipment), cleaning the plane, service the plane (lavatory, potable water, ground power, a/c, etc.), eventually push the plane, hit on hot flight attendants, and much much more.

it's a fun/easy job. but very fast paced and requires some athleticism and stamina, and you have to be pretty responsible.

it has great benifits and some perks like free roundtrip tickets twice a year for you and a friend anywhere in the US. and another good thing is, if you can get this job you can pretty much get a job anywhere. there is an FBI backround check, drug screen, fingerprints, and the list goes on.

i'm only making 9/hr right now, but after a few months or so I can start moving up the ladder. Different companies/airlines have lots of room to move up or very little. over at southwest you can make up to 27 after about 10-15 years of seniority.

my summer job, golf course, sit around half of the time, the other half im movin golf carts and cleaning members clubs. free to do hw, listen to music, you're outdoors, and theres some really cool members there.
also i made like 30+ in tips a night

the most ive made yet was 92 bucks in 4 hours....
I would do the same thing during the summer. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I was the assistant caddie master, which involved me sitting down at the caddy shed watching movies or sleeping. When school stared back up and it was cold out, there was literally NOTHING to do. I slept for 4 hours one of those days.

Once all the younger kids in the bagroom had to go back to school, I went up top there and was the person pulling carts/cleaning clubs/etc. Was paid $7.50/hour plus tips. The last two days I was there (back in november), since I was the only one there I made $60 just in tips each day. So that was $200 in 2 days.

But my favorite job still has to be caddying. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Has been my only real long-term job and was easy money.

Blah. The job i hold now for the weekends. Im a network engineer for the county of orange but that jobs hard. What I do love is working the weekends. Hours are right:EPSON Rep.

Friday: 6pm-10pm

Saturday and Sunday: 9-6pm

All I do is stand by travel from store to store making sure printers are working for demos. Go to break rooms and chill. Go by the tv's and watch tv. Go on CAF. its the best 14.40 an hour ive ever made! Best part is I have no manager. Ive met him once when i was hired 4 months ago and havent seen him since, all online reports!
where exactly is it located??

i love my current job 14 bucks an hour to answer phones and settle issues. its cool i rent light equpiment and heavy equpiment. my boss is one of the coolest guys ever. the only bad part is trying to get deadbeats to pay there bills. and the phones never stop ringing but hey when your on overtime on wednesday making 21 bucks an hour till saturday at 1pm its awesome. plus full hmo benefits for 70 a months kicks *** also.

huge opp. to move up in position and pay scale.

if any of you know of RSC thats where i work 500 locations in the US alone so ya if you can grab a job there

Oh yeah, i hated driving the picker. Ours was a piece of shit and made lots of noise.

The bagroom was definitely the funniest/easiest job there. I would clean golf clubs for 30 seconds and make $10 nearly every time.

Our beverage cart girls were always SCORCHING hot and I would take every opportunity I could to hit on them.

It was always fun driving around the carts and slamming on the brakes to do powerslides and shit. Or we would play around with the acetone used to clean the tape off of golf clubs and make a blow torch out of it.

And you are right, you do SO much stuff in that job, its crazy. I can officially say that I've been to EVERY square inch of that entire place. The attic of the clubhouse, all the maintenance buildings, every nook and cranny of every building.

Good times.....good times.

carwash/detailor.

carwash side..get to drive alot of nice fancy cars. if its your thing..steal whatever you want. ipods, cds, radar detectors, money, change. the guys i worked with were pirates..theyd steal anything. so many ways to get lost and get paid for doing nothing

detail side..tire shine. made a good fireball. multiple hours naps in peoples trunks..none of the supplies were accounted for, so you could walk out with whatever you want..when customers came in and wanted something done..told them no, gave them my number called them after work..charged them 3/4 the price..went directly into my pocket. on big hours long deatils the customers would leave their cars there all day..joyriding around town on lunch that we didnt clock out for. burnouts, dounuts..you get the idea.
