best inexpensive 6" sub

I looked in there earlier today, and an 8 hardly fits. It is for my cousin who doesn't want to spend a ton on car audio. I think the 6x9 tang band sub is looking pretty good.

Your gonna hear about the 6x9 not being a "proper" speaker because it isnt round, but it'd work. I personally would do the TangBand 6.5" Subwoofer that I linked earlier before doing that 6x9.

actually, 6x9 give good amount of bass!

I putted my pair of 6x9(polk mmc690) that were on my rear deck in the sub box of my 15" arsenal (that I shipped to aa to get it reconed), and was actually impressed by wut these thing were putting out!, it went quite deep, they sounded decent, and gaved some VERY decent bass meanwhile till i get my 15" back and build a new box:D

fyi, the pair of 6x9 were put in a box of 3cu.ft NET, tuned @around 49hz

good stuff

Lame... You lose.
Push comes to shove, your cousin is going to be dissapointed with a tiny *** sub.

Just like SQbubble's mom was dissapointed with AcidicDreams' tiny *** penis.
well if she hadn't insisted that I fist her before hand it would have been ok...

her fault... not mine...

but yah.... get an 8"... it's worth the extra work up front to enjoy the system...

he cant fit a freakin 8" dumbass:D

I've been wondering about that TangBand 6.5" Subwoofer also. I have a 95 Nissan pickup. There is no room back there. The only thing I can fit is a 6.5 bazooka tube. I have a 6.5" kicker free-air and it hits very good for it's size. I'm wondering if this TangBand will sound better. I'm feeding it with about 100 watts.

Lift the rear seat and slap a pair of 10's under it. If you don't lift it, someone makes a two tens sealed box. Knock out the center divider and put a plate over one of the 10" cutouts. Port the plate and drop a 10" in the box. Single downfiring 10" ported and it'll do a good job.
