Thats right bishes...
Ill be moving into my new house the first week of Oct. Looking to get a security system thats 24/7 protection, as well as design and build my own camera security system. Looking for some ideas, reviews, suggestions, comments or whatever else. Thanks.

Ya, i have 2 APBT, and a Glock .40, not really worried about that if it comes down to it, but sometimes my girl will be home alone, or if we were both gone and something happens i want some protection. Also the insurance discount is a must. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

If you have some skills working around the house I suggest installing your own setup, if you go with Brinks, ADT or any of the big names a lot of them tie you into 1-3 years contracts and on top of paying the $20-40/mo it was about $1000 for installation of the system for me, I have two doors and 8 windows that was for two keypads.

just get a clifford car alarm and mount it to the wall.
haha i was gunna say the same thing. run hood and door pins to all window's/ door's and then motion sensor's everywhere.. and have the sirien monted on the roof. and have the exterior light's flash apon lock/ unlock.

IF you have USAA as your credit union you can get ADT installed free and up to I think $200 in xtras. You do get locked into a 1-2 year plan though. I was paying ~25/month for monitoring. After the 1-2 years you don't have to pay for monitoring though and still have the alarm, just if the alarm goes off ADT isn't notified.

ya im not really worried about being tied up in a contract, but i really dont want to have to pay for install or deposit. ive got good credit so hopefully i can find one that ill be ok with. I mean, ill have this house for the next 30 years or so, unless i get a deal i cant refuse on it, so 1-2 years is no biggie..

I did have to sign a one year contract with ADT for my new build, but the install was free from the builder.
