Best in-dash DVD player for ur money?

I am looking for an in dash DVD player. I see some alpines at way over $1000 on ebay and brand new, and I don't want to spend that much.

Also, does anyone have a set-up with a regular deck, and then a non-in dash DVD player hooked up?

I am contemplating either situation and need some more info on it. Thanks

You can look for some of the older Alpines Cva1004 Cva 1008 etc.. probably find one of those cheap on ebay.. i believe the 1004 is just monitor but the 1008 is Screen/Cd player.. no DVD.. Also might want to check on some of the older Eclipse and Kenwood DVD..

Thanks for the advice. I am going to stick with an Alpine; whether it is an older one or not.

i have a pioneer 6.5"indash with a PS2 hooked up and no problems with it. great setup but may get rid of it soon as i may get a pioneer avic-n1. so i may get rid of this one soon pm me.
