best hu for spl setup

i have a panasonic cq-c9901u now and its the top of the line in its class,but now after some time with a 150 setup its skips when the bass hits real hard,i know a bunch of yall have probley been through this,my question is what would you reccomend for a cd player than can take a beaten.thanx john

you could just buy a middle line headunit and build a pedastol so you can operate the cd player outside of the car

ive been through 3 this year my first was a excelon x890 it skipped, then a Pioneer AVH-P6600DVD and it skipped also.... i finally tried my buddies pioneer DEH-P7700MP and it worked great so i bought one.

i know some of yall got to remember the oldschool sony's with esp,back in the mid 90's,i was thinking about trying to find 1 of them,like the mobile es cdx-910,or the 710,or i was thinking of the sony cd-90.

You could get a sony cdx-mp70, i reviewed one a while back in the product review forum. It still works as great as the day i bought it but i put it in a buddy of mine's vehicle so i dont use it anymore. But yea, that thing was like skip proof as far as bumps in the road and alot of things of that nature go. they pop up on u-bid.com alot.
