Best head unit for Ipod and Satelite Radio playability?

Hey guys, I have about $500 to spend and would like your opinion on what head unit I should look for. Here are my priorities:

1. Easy Satelite Radio Navigation and control

2. Decent Ipod control

3. Nice sound

I have been considering the Alpine iDA-x001 but I am concerned that it is too focused on the iPod controls and will be a pain to listen to satelite radio on. I've also played a bit with the CDA-9885 and it seemed nice enough...

What do you guys think? Any suggestions?

That would be incredible... but the vehicle it is going in is a '97 GMC truck... It's a 1.5 din opening... Don't think I could fit that double din.

Ohh... and it's $1400.
