Best H.o. alt for a 1993 explorer sport?

Anyone know what the best amperage alternator would be to run for a 1993 ford explorer sport would be also what's best company to roll with as far as warranty , shipping (quality/time)? My setup is in my sig:D.
4.0 V6? ive got a load boss 250amp alt from before they turned into a ebay company..keeps my voltage high. i idle at 14.9-15v and rarely drop below 14 if ever.,

 
to tell u truth man im sitting at like 13v something right now.hmmm....wondering if i really need a h.o. alt then. But then again i dont have amps subs and all that hooked up either lol. so no draw really right now. but u got the link 2 em man? are they nicely priced?

i bought mine used so i really couldnt tell ya. with no real current draw i sit at 15v. if i have my lights on, foglights on, heat on, and a hk4000d running full tilt i dropped to 14v. thats plenty for me.

 
Nice man . dang wish ya had a link. it's alright though. yeah man my batteries helpn alot well battery right now i dont even have my 2nd one in yet lol.

 
kinda don't trust ebay with something like that. rather get it straight from the company.
1) companies sell their shit on ebay at times. IE alterstart is the maker of loadboss...when you go to ebay and look up load boss, the seller is "alterstart". its the same thing just like when you buy iraggi alts off ebay. not everything is private sellers.

2) if you're sitting at 13.0v there is a problem. with my stock alt as well as my HO alt, i sat at about 14v and my buddy sits the same. both are explorers. mine is the OHV 4.0L and his is the v8. have you done the big three?

3) we both run, and recommend mean green

edit: seems you have done the big three...am i accurate in my reading of your post (ie you sit at 13v even with no system playing)?

i have a 99 explorer...i sit at 15v..with the ohv 4.0

I got an Iraggi that I haven't had any problems with.I know there are a few people that have voiced their oppions about him but I can't say anything bad.He also offers a lifetime warrenty as well as an exchange plan.Give him a call and see what he can do.
