Im looking for a good Free Air or IB subs to put on the rear deck between my 6x9 speakers. Prefer 12 inch but a 10 inch could work. I found a Kicker one on Crutchfield but i'm not sure. Any good suggestions?

Image dynamics makes a great sub for i.b.

Not all subs will work well in i.b.

Honestly I ran a single obsidian 18" in my wall with the other three holes left open and it was rather impressive... I would put a OA 10" or 12" in rear deck and it would bang I bet

If you can find one used, since OA went out of business, lol

sure if he is looking for an 18" woofer. not everyone can just throw in an 18 in their vehicle or wants to.
hence the dayton 15s. You can definitely fit 15s IB in 90% of trunks and retain almost all your trunk space still. When you use subs built specifically for IB, it'll work out a lot better than picking random subs and testing it. Especially with that kicker's lowest line sub choice...

I would like to put the sub through my rear deck(the 15 inch sub would be an extremely tight squeeze but the 12 inch would fit) and reinforce the deck to prevent rattle and seal off the trunk as best as possible

I had a Sundown X-10 in IB a loooong time ago. If you've got power, you could try that

Never used either nor have I ever run IB but if I wanted to Dayton and Image Dynamics would be my first thought.
I was loooking at Image Dynamics and the ones I found were 8 ohms, since I would be only using one, I don't know how to hook it up since I can't find an amp that does 8 ohms

Thats was for the pair...if you do a single, they have a 4 ohm one,but costs more.
