Best Enclosed Sub for under $250

My friend has 2 Directed 12s that get really really loud in a sealed enclosure that he's powering with a RF 1001bd. He paid like 300 with the 2 12s and box.

Kicker #1 is a winner.....bigbox and ported FTW

Type rs need more air then that lil thing has in that box.

what amp are u going to be using? id say go with the 2 CVRs but that box is wayyyy too small. i say the L7 ftw for the same reasons as vetkilr

What kind of amp should I use to power Kicker #1? I am on a REALLY tight budget, so keep it cheap.

for that 10'' L7 u would want at least ~700 watts.

get the L7 and get a 1000 watt hifonics. new there about 200 and im sure u can find a used one in ur price range

The L7 has more power handling capabilities, and can get louder with more power. But if you were to have ~700w at hand then the L5 would be fine.

I would suggest something like an Orion 600D.
