What I need is two 12's, they must work and look at least half-decent. I don't care about the brand (as long as they match). For 20-30 dollars. I'm talking about the old useless stuff you bought a while ago that nobody will buy because its a 200 watt pyramid sub or something(have to each be 4 ohm). If worse comes to worse then maybe just one relatively good 12" that's DVC 4ohm.

And I need 12's instead. But it's ok. Going out on a limb asking for equipment for 20-30 dollars puts me in this position. MB Quart is way too good for my price range. Remember, I'm a college student now.

I also have a pair of Hardstyle 12s for $30 shipped. They are new, never used. Bought them at a local in a dual ported box. I just wanted the enclosure so I never used the subs. They are 4 ohm svc, I think they are rated at 240 watts peak.

Which of the two woudl be better in a ported enclosure? (Its some prefab someone's giving me) keep in mind this isnt for me so as long as it has some bass I don't care lol.

The Thumps sound better in sealed box and dont even need an amp. The Hardstyle weigh twice as much as the thump and are better suited for ported applications. They are very similar to Titan subs that normally come in prefab boxes.
