Best configuration

I dont know much about audio so i came to you guys for help. What configuration (what freq to tuen it at) is best for my setup in the trunk of a sedan.

12 inch alpine type-x, in a 1.75 cubic foot ported box.

Installer set the gains and bass boost past the 1/4 mark. Not sure what freq he set, i gotta check it. My goal is to get more spl qithout lowering the sound quality too much.

Depends on what you're looking for...sound quality installations are generally going to be tuned low (27-30Hz) while competition SPL systems tune very high (40-60Hz). 32-37Hz is a good middle range.

Personally, I would tune around 32Hz, and see how you like that.
