why has nobody mentioned the DD components, rumoured to be the best component speaker EVER aside from the stupidly priced $2000+ Polk & Helix ranges???

i heard the several dd demo cars and i must say they are ok but you wouldnt catch me dead withem lol. not my style but in their defense they aint bad, is my OPINION so dont jump me and others reading this shouldnt assume they are bad

What about Crystal Components, are they better than Infinity?

Also I'm looking to replace 6 of the 7 speakers that came in my Honda Pilot, less the Sub. How many speakers come with a component system?

The 6 I'm replacing are two tweets on the dash , 2 - 6.5 in the front doors, 2 - 6.5 in the back doors.

Any ideas, recommendations would be great. The head unit is suppose to have 155Watts, so I'll leave that and the sub.

mytmouse had a pretty good one but nakamichi is hard to find and is pricey. But I'll agree with wesleysh and ss3079 they have the right idea about MBquart and the Boston Acoustics. Out of the ones you picked I would have to say the JL.

Everyones tastes are different so there is no best componet set out there Everyones preferences are different so the best out there is what appeals to you...others might die for Infinity or MB Quart; others might die for Crystal, Alpine, or Boston Acoustics.

PS: Build your system based on what appeals to you, not what others say.

yeah i was faced with this question a month ago or so and decided to hear every comp. set people listed that i could on here before i made any decisions. i heard the ID chamelions great sounding comps, heard MOMO's a friend has em there not bad comps., never heard morel or rainbow want to though. oh and my personal list from my fav. to least fav.:

What about Dynaudio. I have their Contour 3.3 in my home system. As far as home systems go, their the best, I've heard.
