Best/Cheapest place to buy Alpine Type-R (12")

Are these statements assumptions from what you have read from random people on a forum you don't even know, or are they based off of experience from actually hearing both subs???
Because I've actually owned a few type-rs in my day, as well as have 2 sitting here right now, and I have heard many many other setups and I will say, for the money, none of them beat a type-r setup, besides MAYBE the kicker cvr or l5's getting close in terms of spl/sq/price ratio

For right now, assumptions. But I will be getting them soon, and will have two different type r installs to compare them to. I have no reason to doubt the capabilities of these subwoofers, and I can't imagine PG going around telling all of the people I've heard good things from to do just that.
