imo, excessive amperage..people have had problems, including us, but all in all i feel it was a good buy. ohio generator would be my choice if you have the cash.

My pull was mis-aligned by a few millimeters, which caused me to shred bealts. I called them, the sent me a new pulley. It was still not aligned correctly, so I took pics and measurement for them...sent it back in... They sent me a BRAND NEW alternator, free of charge (This was right around 1 year after I received it. By the way, they covered shipping for all of this stuff. Mine has a 3year/300,000 mile warranty on it. And I love it.

Beware of cheap alts. You get what you pay for. I can build a "cheap" 250 amp alt for about $80 using all new parts, but will it last. . . . . .

seems to be a 135 amp stock alt. would a 200 be a noticeable improvement? or should i go about paying someone to dampen the hell outta my car...

Sorry, I don't have that information. It will be between 105-130 amps. The 6G uses the same stator as the 3Gs with longer leads, and with the extra electronics, it's probably the 130 amper.

your correct, it is the 130 amp alt. i believe instead of an HO alt, i will have my car deadened. We'll see what happens.
