If you push on the rear window on an explorer, your score gets lower. If you put someone on the roof to stop the flex, the score goes down again.I have installed a bunch of systems in explorers before, and the only reason why I don't think it is the best for SPL is because of the roof. Not sure if you guys have had this same problem, but for some reason explorers rooves seem to flex very easily. I actually did an install in one of the new durangos and so far that has been my favorite car to work on.
Sounds good. I just installed the systems. I was never around when they were metered. I just didn't like how unstable the roof seemed to be.If you push on the rear window on an explorer, your score gets lower. If you put someone on the roof to stop the flex, the score goes down again.
Explorers make great SPL vehicles, and you can fit a group 31 under the hood in the stock location and HO alts are easy to find.
