Best Car For SPL

I have installed a bunch of systems in explorers before, and the only reason why I don't think it is the best for SPL is because of the roof. Not sure if you guys have had this same problem, but for some reason explorers rooves seem to flex very easily. I actually did an install in one of the new durangos and so far that has been my favorite car to work on.
If you push on the rear window on an explorer, your score gets lower. If you put someone on the roof to stop the flex, the score goes down again.

Explorers make great SPL vehicles, and you can fit a group 31 under the hood in the stock location and HO alts are easy to find.

Sounds good. I just installed the systems. I was never around when they were metered. I just didn't like how unstable the roof seemed to be.

Yeah they do //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

When I had my mountaineer (same thign //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif) and my 2 15's, the hatch rattled so much it wasn't funny. That ****er was loud, then the rear glass.Inside, anything and everything rattled.Even something under the dash //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif I'm glad I only had that set-up in there for a few weeks. Then I ditched it and got the jeep, much less rattling.Still need sound deadening though.

so far it looks like you should go with crx or explorer. personally i would take a explorer over a crx but thats just me. if your gonna buy your kid a car just for best spl then i dont think you dynomatting everything would be a problem. but ive heard a few expo's and they do beat better then most other systems ive heard.

CRX is tested tride and true. if i hadnt seen it this past sunday i wouldnt have beleived it but a CRX wit ha pair od SoloX 12's did over 152dB on Term Lab with Street A regulations.

Not with "Street A regulations"
