Best buy return policy on home theater sub

I had a thread bOut HT And seeing as how searching for anything on the net on my phone is pita. I'll just ask here

bought a Polk psw 10" sub from best buy and now am gonna return it cuz it pretty much sucks dick. So do I need a reason if it's not defective?? Or can I just return it within the 30 days if it's still in perfect condition without. Restocking fee??

I'm gonna end up trying out a sub I've never even heard of before and am just going off reviews and members in a few forums that compare it to same size /power subs by eD , svs etc

It's called a ascendant audio hdsub-15. I dunno the write up on it seems a lil cheesy but I'll post a link to it

But like I said most important is being able to return this pos! Do I just tell them it sucks and I don't want it or whAt

 
what does the back of the receipt say? its got the return policy on it.
All it says is 14 days for some electronics and 30 for others. It doesn't list any conditions. I didn't see a " this sh!t sucks, I don't want it anymore " policy tho

Sh1t man 199 + tax. I mean I know that's overpriced as I saww there onlinefor 109. But I thought itwould be a he'll of alot better than this and I could actually hear something below 35 hz. This is a joke for HT. I wanted the klipsch 12 but they were out. Thank god I didn't buy that overpriced piece of garbage either. I ended up getting a full Polk surround setup (5.1) and this was the only sub they had. So I just picked it up

 
why don't you just go over to the place you bought it and attempt to return it????

the longer you wait hoping to get a "Decent Information" from this forum the slimmer your chances are of returning it..

JUST GO.. how hard is it??? really??

 
Why say "Probably charge a restocking fee" when you have no clue? Don't say probably.. say MAYBE.. I've returned all kinds of shit to Best Buy without having to pay a restocking fee.

When I return stuff I don't want to Best Buy they always gave me a complete refund and never seemed to really care why I want to return it.

I just say something like.. "I don't like it, It's not what I expected, etc"

an they usually ask after they have already started the return process.

If they argue with you ask for a manager and stand your ground about how shitty the sub is and you feel ripped off and the sales guy blah blah blah...

Don't be a puss you want your money back.. So say whatever it takes to get your money..

Remember they are the assholes that overcharged you on a lame sub in the first place.. **** THEM.

That seems f'd up to me. Just cuz I opened it And got to listen to how shitty it sounded after the dumbass sales guy said it is a very good sub.

Well I admit I'm a dumbass for getting it there but still. And as far as I know I'm in no hurry since I won't have a sub for a few more weeks until my new 15 gets here and the policy I believe is 30 days on HT equiptment and 14 on smaller electronics etc

I returned a $3500 laptop and told them "It sucks" yah they got rude with me... but who cares.. I pity them anyways..

Don't wait return it ASAP!!!

Best buy employees especially the women are just negative and bitter and are not looking to help anyone.

They are going to tell you whatever just to not help you.

Don't worry until you go to the store and tell them what you have told us..

They were sold out of the klipsch so you bought this and it's horrible and you demand to return it.. If they say they have the Klipsch now just say NO I don't want it.. it's that easy.. YOU ARE THE CUSTOMER! The CUSTOMER is always RIGHT!

Sweeten the story if you have to..

DON'T BE A PUSS! they are going to give u a hard time for the single reason that their life sucks and they work at Best Buy..

Lie.. say whatever the **** you want.. Say someone already agreed you can return it.. make up a name.. who the **** cares..

You better have the box and everything tho..
