Tell you what. Get us a screen shot of an email (blurring out addresses), and maybe someone will believe you, even though that could easily be faked.

(to do a screenshot, open paint, then go to the email and push the "print screen" button on your keyboard, then ctrl-v (paste) on the white paint document.)

If this is a true story, I agree with the other guys on some major points. If the kid is steering his mom to best buy, he probably would be happy with an RF system. They aren't god-awful or anything. However, he'll also probably be ok with the mach's, if he does his research. Either way is fine I think in the mom/kid's eyes, and the only person who really loses is the BB guy, who you kinda screwed.
