Best Buy employees

I am sure they will insignia is a best buy brad so there cost on them I am sure is like $4.50 I would look for something used on like ebay or craigslist and get a better quality for the money that is just what I think though

Man, to be honest, those Polks don't sound that bad. I don't have a $1,000 budget for HT either...so I opted for the Polks and they sound okay. I use it for HT and gaming. I wish it was a little louder, but that is my receiver's fault, not the fault of the speakers. I am happy with them. Only thing I want to upgrade is to say I did it myself.

So if you don't listen to music in the home, I don't find any real value in spending a ton of money on "sonically accurate" speakers. When playing a movie, I didn't see much difference in the klipshe's at best buy vs. some of the more economical models.

Lol this post seems a little out of place in this thread.......

But polk is one of the top of the line home theatre brands. Especially their more expensive stuff (the RTI series is really good)

I've got a cool looking pair of bookshelf seakers...that look like books.

yea, they had some good things to say about them at the htguide.com and I don't have money to go all out on a surround sound for my room. I need to be saving up for a car so these are my budget speakers

It was actually talking about another thread the guy made in HT where he asked about the Polks and basically many posters felt they were of inadequate quality.

I was referring to their lowest line...where a complete setup could be had for ~$600.

I would go ask over at avsforums.com

Not saying people here dont know what they are talking about but you will probably get some good idea's over there.

I looked on ebay and there are all sorts of used bose speakers that i think you could piece together and stay in your budget I owuld personally stay away form the insignia but that is just what i think
