Best Buy Customer Service SUCKS

he said cause barcode was on it but still should be able to do something especially when i called on phone first. Before i went there told em i was missing the reciept & back piece and they said SOMETHING could be done. Why i find to buy things offline so much better cause most the stores you go to now pull this bs.

OP if it were your store would you let somebody bring back something that is sold at different stores to your store with no box, receipt or anything and compensate them? You were just part of something that they deal with all the time.

You Fail for not straightening it out with the person you talked to on the phone the first time.

I have never had an issue with them as far as returns. If you paid with a CC, they can even look it up. I don't really buy from them anyways. I go to Frys for my computer needs. I almost bought from them Sunday. They had a 1 gig stick of memory for 17.99. They were out, I went to Frys about 4 blocks away and they had the same brand in a 2 gig for 20 bucks.

 
I never had a problem either. I bought a Samsung LCD from them a while back and after a month it just died and they didn't have my particular model in stock. Even though it was over a month after the purchase and they didn't have my TV in stock they still took the TV back, gave me a newer better model then I originally had, and I didn't have to pay the difference in price. Since I was mis-lead for about a week on having it repaired this was their way of compensating me. Now the people on the phone are complete moron's but the people from customer service at the store were very helpful.

 
they could have checked using a phone number or address that he used. you are an idiot...why couldn't you call your buddy?

better yet, who did you talk to when you called?

 
When you called you probably failed to mention the UPC was missing so essentially you pulled a pair of broken headphones out of the garbage and expected Best Buy to do something about it.
