I am going to be honest, i dont know much about speakers, i know a small amount. SO heres my story
I went to best buy to f*** with the car audio employees, to see if i could keep up with them. I asked a few questions, quickly realized that i know about 100x what they know, put together. Supposedly a 10 gauge wire is enough for two small amps, and fuses just "get in the way and dont have a purpose so why bother they just throw you off"
Almost thought they were kidding
Then i went to circuit city. This ones a real rip. I went to the car audio section. I said, hey i have 800 dollars can you give me a good subwoofer setup... So the guy was like.. sure here we go. First thing he grabs is a capacitor. A rockford fosgate .5 farad for 120 dollars. He goes "now i dont care what anybody says your system will never sound right without this here capacitor its good to 5000 watts fosgate is incredible the digital display allows for much more than non digital" Then he gets stinger 4 gauge wire, the distro block all that jazz, then he brings me over to the subs. "The xplods will outperform most other subs, they have a great blend of harmonic code and a great x max" and some "amazing" xplod amp... i was like hold all this stuff for me and throw whatever else you think i need in ill be back//
Im just letting you know that if I can have fun with best buy and circuit city employees, their has to be something wrong. Im quite ashamed of them.
