Well, i was wondering what would be the best budget amp for my two 3002D2 pioneer primer pro subwoofers which are rated for 1000watt RMS each and 3500watts Max each. They are wired to each have an ohm load of 4ohm, or wired together for an ohm load of 1x2ohm.

As far as my budget, i would like to go as cheap as possible without under-powering them.

Thanks for the suggestions.

well, you need ideally 2000rms at 2ohm....You can either underpower them and get a Hifonics BXi 2610d and maybe they get about 8-900 each, or you can get something like an Ap3000d and send each one 1500rms and be very careful with your settings....or, if you have stout electrical, run something at .5

you might also look into a Lanzar Opti, if im not mistaken those can be ran at .5, but u would need good electrical

prices on those amps are around 300$ or so new for the Brutus, and I think about 350$ for the AP

If you need something for alot less than that, you will likely be underpowering your subs...finding 2k rms at 2ohm is not cheap

im runnin a mmats 100hc on mine in a sealed enclosure and there pretty happy(i actually have the series before yours) .59ohms
