Best budget 15" subwoofer

I have a 2003 Chrysler Sebring convertible so I'm kinda pressed for space and am gonna run it on a Hifonics HFi 1000 watt amp. I want on that would sound good at moderate levels for a daily driver but I'm gonna need one that will be able to get really loud.

I check them out and by sa-15 u mean the sundown 15 right? And do you guys think that the audiopipe obsidian and dc would have as good of SQ as the type r. I guess I'm just a little skeptical about these subs I haven't ever heard about.

Those would shit on the type r's. Well built and they play lows very well. After a coupon code you can bring the price down to around $255 shipped. Just remember that you should always have a custom box made for you, or make it yourself using a design. The enclosure makes a lot of difference.
^^ Would have to disagree with that one.. I've had both on the same amp and my Type R out did it every day of the week.

I dont remember the exact specs but its a pretty big ported box. I dont have this system anymore but i personally rather the type r's. Not trying to knock down your opinion or anything like that just my personal experience with them
