best box style

hay i was wondering wat would be the best box for a candence daytona 12 inch sub?? i want to know mainly because som subs work better in a sealed and some in ported i just want to know which kind to get so i get the best for my money.

yea wen i first bought my first pair of subs i had them in a dual chamber ported box they hit hard but wanted to make sure were they can hit the hardest without sounding like crap

I can't find the t/s parameters but it "looks" like it wants a vented or a 6th order bandpass box.

Ported is just a general term for allowing the rear wave to ccontribute to the response. Considering that there are many types of designs along with virtually unlimited ways to physically present them into an enclosure form, it is tough to say which type of ported design as well. You also need to know what response goals you are after. Some minor considerations will conclude the actual design idea, along with what was said about cabin function. To determine the optimal design, it has to be calculated for every type to see which best matches your listening preference.
