i just got a ported box for my two 12 inch type rs and i think something is wrong cuz my seled box sounded better and ive heard ported should be better any body know from experince straifht from a youngin

and a prefab is a shitty worthless box (in most cases) that u can pick up at ure local best buy circuit city etc. u get the point

tuning it has to do with the frequencies it'll output(correct me if im wrong). hit up the enclosure building section and do a little research and build your own box, should sound better than the circuit city one and cost a lot less
