Best beer?

If I wasn't flying the next morning, I was out tying one on that night. There were no requirements to be "not feeling the after-effects of alcohol" during ground school. I had two roommates that were big time partiers and I had to make up for 4 years of lost time called the Academy. We went out almost every night during ground school. We slowed down a bit once we started flying, but the weekends we made up for it.

Actually Hot wings and beer are the only way to go.
Just to clarify, Miller Lite is the only beer I can drink all night and not get buzzed. Anything else, especially the other stuff I mentioned, get me feeling pretty good after 3 or 4. I don't drink that often anymore, unlike pilot training where I would go out and spend $40 each time 3-4 nights a week and sleep through my alarm in the morning.

In that case maybe I shouldn't start drinking miller lite, it'll just be a waist of money.

There are two theories I have behind people drinking guiness.

1. Seems like they tend to be coffee drinkers. To me it taste like a cross between coffee and bacon.

2. It tends to be drank by people that have drank for a while and they claim that they just don't taste any flavor in bud bud lite, miller lite, coors lite etc. They also don't tend to chug it they enjoy it. What's that drink where you take guiness and bass and guiness is on top and bass is underneath? This is the one time where I actually drank guiness. I'm personally not into the flavor and once I got to the bass I found the bass much better.

There is no mainstream beer better than Guinness. And I don't drink coffee...can't stand the stuff. But you are definitely right that you don't chug guinness...Guinness is a meal, you have to chew it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Sam Adams is my fall back choice...it's always good. The best beer I've ever had though was of course when I was in Germany. By law, unless it's an export beer, they can't put preservatives in it. It makes such a difference in taste. Mmmmmmm, hefeweissen. God I miss that stuff.

Ahhhh...beer. One of my favorite things. I worked at a microbrewery in North Carolina -- Spring Garden. They make Red Oak Amber -- awesome beer. Also developed a taste for dark beer...
