Best bass songs with good SQ

I just got my sub the other day...Alpine type R (1000 watt) and it is great. I like listening to pretty much any type of music, but I listen to rap more then anything else. I noticed that some rap songs sound great, while others you can not even hear the words...(bad SQ too much backround bass making your teeth chatter, which can be cool, but i like the thump...thump...thump sound not the ratttlleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee rattttlleeeeeeeeee......get the point?) so anyway, I was wondering if there were any good rap, or any other type of music that sounds good but also has a good thump to it. For example a lot of the nelly songs have good bass and pretty good SQ. Any help would be great

I have always felt that most Tupac stuff sounds good with a good stereo. Anything from down south will have a TON of bass, as will anything by Bone. I'll give a quick list of songs I think sound good and have good bass:

Sir Mix A Lot- Posse on Broadway

Boyz in the hood- Eazy E

Technotronic- Pump up the Jam (I'm absolutely serious)

Notorious BIG- Big Poppa

Jay-Z feat. Memphis Bleek- Coming of Age (from Vol.3)

Outkast- Atliens

Outkast- Rosa Parks

Big Gipp- Steppin' Out

Three Six Mafia- Tear Da Club Up

one of my favorites for bass is 36 mafia - late nite tip its an awesome song, and spice 1 - 1990 i believe thats what its called but it has the loudest bass of any song ive heard, and ive hearrd every rap song there is almost it may be called i think theres a song called my system too, i dunno do i search for it if you want some more songs with a lot of bass just pm me...but i dunno about the SQ part but i think nelly has tight beats

I second that one... oldie but goodie.

But really it depends... If you have a ported box your best off trying a bunch of songs.. find what that has the same frequency as your box is tuned to.. and there ya go.. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
