Best bang for your buck amp 1000 rms @ 2 ohm?

My friend just got an alpine type X 12 dual 4. It is wired down to 2 ohm. So whats the best bang for your buck amp, that pushes 1000 rms at 2 ohm. Also hows the Hifonics BXi 1610D amp? Is it over rated? Been reading some reviews about it.

i dont like the hifonics, but i have heard some good things about the 2010 series
