best bang for the buck 8"s? I need 4 of them.

put those 4 subs in a mdf box ported toward the back and like others have said the bass will flow.

what kinda car is that? what is the total cf inside the fiberglass box your running?

looks nice tho //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I'm looking for a 8"s that gonna be harder hitting in my sealed enlosure in my subfloor. Right now I'm running 4x RE RE8 at about 1200 at 2 ohms sealed. It does slam, but I'm looking to step it up another notch. Maybe to a beefier 8".
I've been eyeing the JBLs. But what other budget buys are there? I would love DDs, sound splinters, but the money it to much. May also look at the tangbank 8s if they are still avaiable.
i vote yes......

I had rather have the image dynamics IDV3 series 8's over the jl audio W3 series! The W3's only have 10 mm xmax. The IDV3 has 15 mm xmax. The sd is also greater on the IDV3 for max output. Alot of companies don't build there 8's to perform like 10's and 12's. Look at the W3's! The 8 has 10 mm of xmax. while the 10 and 12 have 14 to 15 mm of xmax.

im check out the ID, the tangbangs I can get the ohm load i need. It will wire down to 1 or 4, my current load is 2ohms.

the box is actually mdf under all that. My amp is under there too. Wanted a nice stealth install. If I could only hide that huge group 31. Is partsexpress the only place for the tangbanks? which should I look at the regular or the aluminum cone?

get either 4 jl audio w3's or 4 solo 8's both will work in .3cf to .4cf sealed really well and can out do the re8's
on a side note RE is about to release a new line of 8's ')

so hold out alittle longer and see what re has up there sleaves //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
