L5's for bang for the buck!

L7 15" if you can spare the extra change.

Couple more bucks than you wanna spend, but the bang for the buck is ridiculous, they're still some of the loudest speakers i've ever heard, and not too expensive.

I'd go with 2 15's ported and around 600-1000rms per driver.

i am also in this he's my friend too and we're trying to do our best as friends and help him out as much as we can...

what ever he chooses will be run off a american bass 100.1 preferrably at .5 ohm

if he got four they would only have to take about 800 rms each

and yeah trust me 4 15 ported wouldn't be a prob BIG A$S TRUNK

and his budget is around 500 bux total

If you go with Type R's I have one. I would even drive to you all this time. Or you could come back to hooters I know you all liked the one down here.
