Best and Cheapest amp for a super sub?

I need an amp for a Sound Splinter RL-P. I wanna spend like 250 or under, and i want it to put out around 1000 watts at 2 ohms. the hifonics bx1205d puts out 900 at 2 ohms, but if you can run it at 1 ohm it will put out 1200 watts.

It's solid state we're talking about here...as long as he doesn't run it into clipping, he's good.

I asked if used was an option because a JBL BP1200.1 will do a solid 1.3kW into a 2 ohm load, and should be found for under 250.

Well, they're discontinued.

But you should be able to find refurbs and returns to Sounddomain from time to time, as well as ones on Ebay.

But you should be able to find refurbs and returns to Sounddomain from time to time, as well as ones on Ebay.

I can't find any on sounddomain, and i can't find any on Ebay either. And i don't wanna over power the sub either, 1300 watts rms is a shitload for one sub.

it all makes sense now. i personally would stay away from used or discontinued stuff just because of the warranty stuff. but then again i have to have it warrantied because i beat the shit out of my stuff. (car audio stuff only though)
